The file on the original Pewee Valley Post Office building below was scanned in 2016 by Donna Russell at the Kentucky Heritage Council offices in Frankfort, Ky. The building was demolished in January 1990.
The file contains information gathered by Carol Tobe for the 1981 Kentucky Historic Resources Inventory of Oldham County and information gathered by Carolyn Brooks in 1989 for the Post Office's nomination to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Central Avenue Historic District.
