1930s-Era Fox Studio Map
This early 1930s-era map of Pewee Valley landmarks was put together by the people of Pewee Valley for Fox Studio for the filming of "The Little Colonel" movie starring Shirley Temple and Lionel Barrymore. The map includes a mixture of the Little Colonel story locations and other Pewee Valley landmarks. Though not a true map of the real Pewee Valley, most of the spatial relationships are generally accurate. The map later became the basis for the Little Colonel Game by Selchow & Righter.
