1974 Aerial View of Pewee Valley

This 1974 aerial photograph of Pewee Valley was published in "Pewee Valley: Land of the Little Colonel" by Katie S. Smith. The markings were for the printer and denote how the photo should be cropped for the book, where it appeared as a two-page spread. The numbers on the photo correspond to the following Pewee Valley landmarks:

1 -- Friendship Manor
2 -- Beard's Grocery (now the strip shopping center at 311 LaGrange Road)
3 -- St. James Episcopal Church
4 -- Little Colonel Playhouse
5 -- Pewee Valley Presbyterian Church
6 -- St. Aloysius Catholic Church
