G.T. Bergmann's 1858 Map of Jefferson County, Kentucky Showing Pewee Valley

Available from the Library of Congress, G.T. Bergmann's 1858 Map of Jefferson County, Kentucky showed the names of property holders, division lines of farms, positions of houses, churches, school-houses, roads, water-courses, etc. Pewee Valley and Rollington were included, despite being part of Oldham County. Below is a close-up of Pewee Valley.

The area once known as Pewee Valley was much larger in the 1850s than it was after the Town of Pewee Valley was officially incorporated in March 1870. It spilled over into Jefferson County and incorporated portions of what later became O'Bannons and Springdale.
